In today's video we are taking a look at how easy and simple it is to install a WiFi Thermostat with or with out a C Wire. The C wire is used in many systems, because it is the one that gives constant energy to your device, in conventional non WiFi systems , its usually required a battery, but because this system requires more than just a back light that can be easily be supplied by a couple of batteries. This system need juice for back light and for WiFi.

In this latest installment we take a look at how to install this particular system with or with out the c wire. To be able to do that we use a 24 volt c wire electrical outlet power supply, which is able to provide the juice that we need , even if our system does not provide that much important wire.

Using this particular adapter gives us not only the c wire but also the rh wire, which means if your system has a jumper you may require to remove it. Because now the adapter provides that extra wire as well. Verify you owners manual if needed.

On this video you can easily install any thermostat no matter the brand or type. At the end of the day its a basic installation. We were able to hide the adapter cable inside the wall, making the cosmetic look alot better.

If you do have the c wire then your installation is going to be a lot easier. I you also have additional wires, you can follow the same steps by labeling them and attaching it to the new thermostat .

Always remember safety is the most important thing, Always contact your ac and electrical specialist. This video es for learning purposes.

In today's video we are taking a look at how easy and simple it is to use Wood planks and Wood wraps for grilling. These are great for any occasion. Not only they look great but the taste even better. In today's video the plank and wrap used is made by a company called Wild Wood Grilling. Other than these products they also provide wood skewers and wood chips, if you are interested in their product , here is the link.

Wild Wood Grilling

We used a whole chicken for the cedar wood plank and we used carrots for the alder wood wraps, and we got great flavor in both. We decided to cook both at the same time , so the carrots can also get infused with the chicken flavor and like that get a two in one combo.

Usually the rule of thumb is to place the heavier meats in the plank and on the wraps the easy to cook vegetables, fruits, small meats like shrimp , ham , ect. But remember at the end of the day you are the king of your castle.

The whole cooking process took a little under 3 hours and we had a complete meal for four, just add any sides and you are done. We pre seasoned the meat 24 hours before, but like anything in life you can even do that a hour before.

Right before placing the meat on the grill, we gave it the last coat of dry rub to give it that extra kick.Every 1 hour to 1 hour and half we flipped the meat and the wrap. Once we got the chicken to a internal temperature of 174 degrees Fahrenheit we were done.

In Today's video we are taking a look at how easy and simple it is to smoke a pork shoulder using good old fashion charcoal. This entire process of from beginning to end is only going to take from 4 hours to 6 hours depending on your grill. Like everything in cooking it all depends up to you how easy or complicated you want to make the process, I always find that the simple ways are the best and the ones that you enjoy the most.

In our case we pre seasoned the meat 24 hours before smoking meaning the day before when we bought it. That same day we removed the fats and the skin. We removed the skin to make some great tasting pork cracklings, which were delicious with some lime juice on top. The great thing about this meat is that we got two totally different meals from one meat.

The day that we bought the meat we got the cracklings and the next day some tender and juicy smoked shoulder meat. The great thing about this meat once smoked you can go at it with bbq sauce or with out, it has great flavor which ever way you choose.

The day of the smoke out, we re seasoned the meat with our bbq dry rub that we also poured mustard to keep the rub on the meat and also give it that great bbq flavor. We also injected the meat with a mixture of half apple juice half apple cider vinegar to keep our meat juicy and tender on the inside.

The first 3 hours we kept the same process going, and that is, that every hour we flipped the meat , sprayed the meat with a half and half mixture of apple juice and apple cider vinegar and when needed we added wood to our charcoal.

We tried keeping the temperature on a average of 250f , and dont worry it is totally normal for the temperature to increase or drop a few degrees, your overall goal is to be close, and remember you do that by controlling the air flow , the more air the hotter and the less air the cooler.

It also helps to move the charcoal around to get the ashes off.

The 4th hour we also flipped the meat , and added bbq sauce on both sides, and we did that to give time for the bbq sauce to caramelize . Now the 5th hour is all up to you we do like our bark on the meat so we choose not to cover the meat with aluminum paper, but that is all a personal preference to your taste.

Once the meat reaches your desired temperature (174 F minimum ) , now the final and hardest step is to let the meat rest for 15 to 30 minutes.
